Established in Singapore in 2006, Global Initiatives (GI) offers corporates and institutions a range of services to achieve their sustainability goals. With businesses seeking better interventions to reach their sustainability goal, GI will be introducing new data-driven solutions while continuing to focus on our existing initiatives.
Until 2020, GI has facilitated sustainability related communication between key stakeholders i.e. policy-makers, corporates, multilateral agencies (such as the United Nations), and patrons of sustainability.
These are large stakeholder forums. Initially branded Business for the Environment (B4E), these are now known as Responsible Business Forums (RBF) and have taken place in different locations such as Dubai, South Africa, London and more recently across SEA and China.
Held since 2012, the Sustainable Business Awards (SBA) recognize and reward excellence in corporate sustainability. The SBAs now cover five markets i.e. Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, The Philippines, and Thailand.
